What is BGAN?

Members of Congress vote on a variety of public policy issues. It is virtually impossible for any member of Congress and their staff to remain up-to-date on all of the public policy issues that are important to people in this country. Members of Congress and their staffs rely on constituents, people who live and work in the districts they represent, to keep them informed on the public policy issues that affect them. Nobody knows more about Boeing than Boeing employees, suppliers, and retirees. BGAN will enable you to make your voice heard by lawmakers.

Just to be clear, there are some things the BGAN program will not do.

  • BGAN is not a political action committee and will not ask you for money.

  •
  • BGAN does not endorse candidates for office.

  •
  • BGAN is non-partisan. BGAN does not favor one political party over another.

  •
  • BGAN will focus only on public policy issues related to The Boeing Company's competitiveness and ability to succeed.
BGAN participants will receive ongoing information about public policy issues that significantly affect you and your work. BGAN will let you know when critical issues are being addressed in various legislative bodies so you can contact your elected officials to ask them to approve, change, or defeat legislative proposals.

BGAN participants will also have the resources of the BGAN Team in Washington, D.C. The BGAN staff will work with you and for you to make sure you have the information you need and answers to your questions about policy, process and the players. In fact, the BGAN Team will get you an answer to your question within one business day or less.
